Why I Love Scooters

I love scooters because there so cool because you can tricks flat or off a ramp.  The other thing is if you don't want to do tricks you can just ride.  I prefer to the skate parks and try to do some tricks.  But before I go to the skate park and do Ramps and grind boxes, I warm up.  First I do a trail through the park or if it's an indoor skatepark I would find a spot on the side and do a couple of circles.  Than I do every single ramp from that skate park a couple of times.  Now I am done warming up and now I can get to the fun part, Doing tricks.

Scoots Weekly Decks

posted Mar 2, 2014, 12:53 PM by Unknown user   [ updated Mar 2, 2014, 1:07 PM ]

I think decks are you used to Stand on, Grind on and Both those two combined.  I will be talk about Decks this week.  So you might ask, What would happen if I don't have a Deck on my scooter? The answer to that question is, you can't ride your scooter.  Same thing if you didn't have Handle Bars, you can't ride your scooter.  The Deck and the Handle Bars are the two main parts of your scooter, But the deck is more than Handle Bars because you can try to ride it like a Skateboard.

Scoots Weekly Landing Tricks

posted Feb 24, 2014, 7:31 AM by Unknown user   [ updated Mar 2, 2014, 1:08 PM ]

Before you try landing a trick off a ramp or flat (Pathway/Side walk).  I think you should go to a foam pit or on a trampoline.  I would rather go to a foam pit because when you go to a foam pit it's a ramp and then theres a foam pit, but remember if you want to do the trick that you want to do of a ramp you should do it off a foam pit.  The reason I said to try it off a trampoline is because if you get more air the less harder it is to land.Thank you for reading this weeks edition of Scoots Weekly.

Scoots Weekly GoPro Filming

posted Feb 13, 2014, 5:11 PM by Unknown user

So this week I will be talking about GoPro Filming.  Now you might be asking yourself what is he going to be talking about.  Well I will be talking about what mounts you should use and where/how you should use the mounts.  The first mount I will be talking about is Jaws:Flex Clamp.  Now this mount I would use on grind boxes because I can see myself grind and the technique so if I need to change my technique I can change it.

Scoots Daily Pegs

posted Feb 9, 2014, 2:00 PM by Unknown user

I think pegs are for tricks that you bunny hop off a grind box.  I think you should only get pegs when you can bunny hop 6 inches and you are controlled when you're bunny hoping.  So what I am saying here is you should only get pegs when ready.  Now you can buy pegs right when buy your scooter but before you get on to a grind box be totally in control because if your not in control your looking at twisting your ankle and I bet you, you wouldn't be happy.  Thank you for reading this weeks edition of Scoots Weekly.

Scoots Daily Ramp Designing

posted Jan 31, 2014, 7:57 AM by Unknown user   [ updated Feb 9, 2014, 1:48 PM ]

I think ramp designing is all about inclines and angles.  The less the angle the the easier it is.  Now there are some ramps that are a quarter of a circle.  I prefer Grind boxs than ramps.  You might ask, How do you grind with a scooter? Now there are two different ways to grind with a scooter.  The first way is to grind with your deck, and the second way is to buy pegs and grind on them.  In a lot of indoor skateparks they have the ramp and then there is a pool of chunks of sponge.  Thank you for reading this weeks edition of Scoots Weekly.

#17 BYOD Rules

posted Jan 30, 2014, 5:20 PM by Unknown user

I think the BYOD rules are pretty straight forward.  Like you only use it for school.  Now last year, I Brought My Own Device but i was playing games on it in class when my teacher was not looking.  The one time he almost caught but then I shoved it in my desk so he wouldn't know that I was playing games not doing research.  Now I think BYOD is a great idea because if you are doing a project and your teacher signed out the netbooks, you can just use your BYOD.  Thank you.

Envy Prodigy Complete From Scooters Canada $240.00 (usually) Posted Jan 30 2014

This scooter I find great for a starter because for a starter scooter this is a good one.  But why, because for a starter scooter you don,t need pegs, a new fork, a new deck or some new handlebars because this scooter (All of the parts) should last a good 2 to 3 years unlike other scooters.  Now this scooter is available in four different colours.  The four colours are green, purple, blue and red.  This scooter does not come in any other colour and this scooter does not come with pegs.  If you are interested in buying this scooter it is $240.00, but right now there on sale at Scooters Canada for $199.99 type this now before they are sold out.  http://www.scooterscanada.ca/products/envy-prodigy-complete
